I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT THIS CHILLY WINTER WEATHER makes it a little harder to climb out of a warm, snuggly bed and start my day. Perhaps the best way to plunge headlong into a busy schedule is not to plunge at all! Consider taking an extra half hour or so in the morning over a cup of tea to gather thoughts and calmly map out the day. For added serenity, play soft music or simply sit quietly and listen to the birds that brave the cold long enough to tweet a cheerful song. My lovebird "Bliss" makes so many interesting and different sounds that I've never heard from a lovebird. I have found that these few moments of reflection in a favorite place put me in the proper frame of mind to tackle whatever the day may hold.
Taking tea is a year-round pleasure. Though some see it as an activity for cooler months. I enjoy teatime all year long. Yes, even in the heat of summer.
Many of the memories we make in life are special because of the people with whom we share them. And what better way to make memories than to gather around a beautifully decorated table laden with delicious food and tea?
